Toshiba's first 3CCD Remote Head Camera offered with LVDS digital output and a choice of 1/2 inch (TU62) or 1/3 inch (TU63) image sensors.
The Toshiba TU61 CCU with either the TU62 (½”) or TU63 (1/3”) camera heads offer increased resolution, improved sensitivity, superior highlight handling and with an improved signal to noise ratio over the now discontinued, but undisputed, de-facto Micro Camera for the last few years, the Toshiba TU48.

Additional TU61 features include: Internal Field / Frame Memory for Machine Vision and specialist applications including Flash Photography: Special menu modes allows 40% increase to vertical resolution allowing 16:9 acquisition without special optics (aspect ratio corrected in post) : CCD Pixel Concealment Feature : CCU to camera cable options up to 30m : An optional upgrade to the TU61 CCU for 10-bit broadcast SDI (Serial Digital Interface) is also available.
