Endura Lithium Ion Batteries
With camera makers converting to the V-Style mount on many new broadcast and professional cameras today, IDX helps you make the change. IDX uses our award-winning Lithium Ion technology in the new IDX ENDURA System. The IDX ENDURA System features the lightweight, reliable properties you have come to expect when using consumer electronics like cell phones and laptop computers. ENDURA even has a feature before now unheard of in our industry; PowerLink™.

The IDX ENDURA PowerLink™ system allows you to stack two E-50 or E-80 V-Mount batteries together on a camera back. When using the 55Wh ENDURA E-50 battery in PowerLink mode, you can get an output of 110Wh to your camera. When using the 82Wh ENDURA E-80 battery in PowerLink mode, you can get an output of 164Wh to your camera. Or combine an E-80 with an E-50 and produce 137Wh to your camera. This makes longer run times available, up to eight hours on some cameras. It also makes using on-camera lights possible, without needing a battery belt. And since ENDURA batteries weigh between 1.1 lb. and 1.62 lbs., your body will thank you.

ENDURA batteries fit directly onto new cameras that have the wedge style V-Mount already built in, including Digital Betacam™, Betacam SX™, and DVCAM™. They are also adaptable to Anton Bauer™ Gold Mount™ systems, using the A-AB2E adaptor plate, or may affix directly to other cameras by adding an IDX V-Mount plate. Each IDX V-Mount Plate, P-V or P-VS, features a D-Tap 2-pin connector, to allow use of on-camera lights. IDX ENDURA batteries offer Digi-View™. The ENDURA Digi-View™, is a feature that displays accurate battery capacity in the camera viewfinder of many new cameras. The IDX P-VS plate supports Syncron. An energy saving function which activates on-camera lights when recording is engaged and deactivates when the recording is paused.

Lithium Ion NP-Style Batteries
The launch of the world's first and award winning IDX Lithium Ion battery NP-L40 in 1996, has pioneered the use of Li-Ion in professional video as the most popular battery format. With the continuing trend to new digital format cameras, the demand for lightweight, more powerful batteries increases. The IDX NP-L50/NP-L50S weigh less than a pound, last nearly twice as long per use as typical NiCd batteries and never need a discharge. The IDX NP-L50/NP-L50S can be topped off, never building a memory effect, can be used weeks after charging, and is environmentally friendly. NiCd NP-Style Batteries
IDX has produced the highest quality Nickel Cadmium (NiCd) batteries for the professional video market for over a decade. Only the highest-grade capacity cells, individually selected and balanced have been used to make IDX a world-renowned supplier of premium quality batteries.

NiMH NP-Style Batteries
Packed with 50-watts of power, the IDX battery provides longer run times. Use it as you would a traditional NP-1B NiCd type battery.

Lithium Ion NP-Style Chargers
IDX Li-Ion battery chargers represent the very latest in IDX charging technology. The optimum electronic charge regime combined with the mechanical needs of rugged, compact and portable systems are the cornerstone of the IDX design.

From the entry-level KL sequential chargers series to the IDX trademark simultaneous series charging systems, IDX can meet the needs of all charging applications. As Li-Ion is memory free, batteries can be charged from any state regardless of the batteries charge status. Each IDX Li-Ion battery has its own built-in microprocessor which enables direct communication with the chargers program to individually select for each battery the correct charge program specific for that battery.

Mechanically, IDX chargers are built to take the abuse of regular location work and tough travel schedules. Features such as durable cases, built-in carrying handles, recessed power switches for protection and external fuses (with spares) are all quality features the industry has come to expect. All IDX chargers are built for worldwide operation with auto sensing AC 100~240V operation.

Multi Format NP Style Chargers
IDX is the first manufacturer to provide batteries in NiCd, NiMH, and Li-Ion chemistries. IDX supports these NP-Style batteries with professional chargers that can charge all three types of chemistries.

These multi-format chargers can detect which chemistry of battery was inserted, and can also charge them accordingly. Even different types of NP-style batteries can be charged side by side in these chargers. This is the perfect type of charger for customer with many chemistries of batteries, or are thinking of upgrading to Lithium Ion later.

NP-Style Quick Chargers / Dischargers
IDX charging technology has continually been at the forefront of charging systems for professional video applications and to take advantage of developments in NiCd chemistry. Leading the way with the first negative delta voltage (-V) chargers and the first all digital control chargers, IDX has always worked to bring the latest technology within its full range of products. IDX chargers are available in fully automatic, multi-channel, and simultaneous charging stations.

Power Supplies
IDX AC adaptors are designed specifically for the tough rigors of location work. They are portable, compact, strong and lightweight. All IDX adaptors are made with metal cases to ensure reliability and long-life. Mechanically and electrically they are designed for "low ripple noise" to ensure non-interference with the camera video signal. They feature adjustable output voltage and "fall-down" PSU design, should the unit be subjected to a load greater than its rated capacity the adaptor will automatically shut down.

NP-Style Boxes
The NH-100/201, are rugged, professional and economical holders for using NP-style batteries with cameras and portable equipment. The NH-100/201 can be fitted directly to the back of cameras or via various adaptor plates to fit existing camera mounts where required. The NH-100 is a single NP holder and the NH-201, a dual battery holder. The NH-204 is fitted with a 4 Pin XLR DC output connector, and the NH-202 is fitted with a 2 Pin DC output, both for on-board lights or wireless microphone systems. The NH-201, NH-202, and NH-204 can be "hot-swapped" while the camera is still operating and is ideal for high power or long run time requirements. Dual boxes are ideal to utilize the weight advantage of Lithium Ion.

Endura Accessories
This plate is used to mount the ENDURA E-80/E-80S/E-50/E-50S V-Mount batteries on cameras who currently support mounting systems other than V-Mount. The IDX P-V/P-VS V-Mount plate can be fitted to cameras of any manufacturer, using different battery mounting systems. In addition, the IDX V-Mount plate features a D-Tap 2 Pin DC out connector for powering on board lights and Digi-View, which shows the battery capacity in the viewfinder. There are two versions of the V-Mount Plate, one with SYNCRON* (P-VS) and one without (P-V).
